The subject "wind" is not so evident, the challenge of this photo may be -FLY-
Good colors and focus. |

What a wing span and what grace and look at that head! Bumping up another notch. |

The way you captured the majestic look of this bird and the blue colour of it is amazing. The colours are so vivid. I can almost hear it wooshing by. |

this is a great photograph - but you could have named it "A bird" or sumin ;) |

I see calm, not wind. Helluva bird pic though... |

I do like this picture. However, the buildings in the back I find take a certain wholesomeness away from the image. But on a whole, not bad, but not great! |

Nicely captured - IMO would like to have seen a slower SS with blur in the wingtips at least |

Such a lame title for such a beautiful picture! Didn't you notice your forgot to give it a name? That happens sometimes, many photographers submit their picture within the last minute. A nice title would have been 'Gliding Grace'. The crop is good, the focus is on the bird, the water surface frames it and its green aspect makes a nice contrast against the blueish feathers. Nice shot. |

it looks like the water is the sky but it is blurred, had to take a double check there. gj |

Beautiful bird. Nice photo. Just wish it were named by you instead of your computer: "IMG_0741-2.jpg." This one gets a 7. |

nice title :p. anyway, GREAT picture - if i could ever capture a moment like this, i'd be happy with my photography for quite awhile. that being said, i don't know what else could improve it (other than things that aren't really in your contorl, such as the structure's reflection). nice positioning/dynamic diaganol, and even a shot of the bird's head as it turns. 10 |

Having the bird uncentered would make it more dynamic. |

bird, wind, diagonal compostion = good. filename, title = not so good. 7 anyway ;) |

The relatively placid water leads me to believe there maybe wasn't much wind...? Pretty nice capture on the bird though. Too bad its not a little more brightly lit. Would make it stand out against the darker water better. |

Oops, did we forget to give this a title? If it was your intention to 'untitle' this, I think you missed a good oppertunity to give us your perspective on this shot. As it stands, this is a fantastically sharp, well executed and interestingly angled. I think your link with the challenge theme is certainly there, but this image is more about the beauty of the bird, rather than the wind beneath its wings. |
