 This was fun. I wasn't going to enter, because all I thought of were star trails, and in a metropolis those don't work well :-).
Then I did a bit of looking around on the net and came across the spirography stuff and wanted to try it. I still don't know how they get those beautiful patterns, but I had fun creating this.

Bulb exposure on camera - covered with back cloth - uncovered and painted the spoon with a torch (very quick, but I had a strong torch for this)- covered the camera, got the other torch on the string going - uncovered and exposed for the light trail.
Very little post - crop, some burning where the BG was not properly black, healing brush on a few sensor hot spots.Resize

WOW! That is wild on the non-participants vs participants. It is super cool, I wouldn’t have even thought of this idea to even google how to! Well done!
