eleven fish from the reefs off the coast of Belize and Grand Cayman - porcupinefish, angelfish, triggerfish, barracuda, flounder, tang, 3 types of butterflyfish, and 2 kinds of parrotfish.

It seems this composition is too circular...

I like this one. It would be good for a "fish calendar" or something like that. Not being sarcastic. :)

Nice work, Wyatt. I like the colors and bordering. The individual fish are all very nice. They have good colors and seem sharp. I like your collage idea but the circular blending is a bit distracting. I can't tell if this is mulitiple shots of fish combined into one final image or if this is one image and you used the blue coloring to block out the background to highlight the fish. I would like to see the non-worked version of this. Overall, good work.

Nice artwork. It would do well as desktop wallpaper, although it's a bit too distracting for that. I like the blue cast, it gives the pictures the right 'underwater' feeling.
As you said, the picture is too circular. Try to move them around a little bit, make their place in the image look random.
You might also want to use a softer eraser. The gradient between the background an the single fishes with their respective background is too harsh.
Oh, and those pictures are awesome. I like how colourful they are.

I am really sorry, please don't be offended or anything, but I really don't like this one.
I like each individual picture, but the montage just don't do this for me.
While the fish themselves are very colorful, the background kills them. It feels too monotone.
The close "crop" of each fish and the bacground covers parts of it just make a whole mess but I don't feel it adds to the picture.
I wish I could see each one of the fishes separatly, in a picture that actually enhances it's uniquness.

hey wyatt

I like the individual shots a lot and i dont think the circular nature detracts, but i think it needs a secondary color. perhaps a yellow in the border may break up the monotony of the color, but i think its a bit too much blue. but a nice collage indeed.

Mostly love the colours on this montage. Circular composition is cool.

The colouring round the ? barracuda at middle top for me doesn't work....lavender/purplish tonings, and I wish the red fish top left had turned round! I really like how at the top L, R, and bottom R you have a focal point of fish and slightly different b/g, though the bottom right one is less obvious. Would love to see that sort of thing on all fours corners. These break up the overly circular feel, and enhance the composition (not sure I explained that well)

Great concept though, can see this on sale at one of our lfs (local fish shops) or on one of their calenders.

Edited to say..... Great fish shots!! I have tropicals so know how hard it is to get a good fish photo!
