Thank you! I don̢۪t mind at all. The reason it was so dark was that I was trying to get the tiny lines in the petals, but I think if I̢۪d given that up and just brightened it as you did, it would̢۪ve indeed scored better. Thanks again for reaching out and taking the time to make the changes. I do appreciate it!
I̢۪m still not quite used to Photoshop Elements but I̢۪m getting there. :). I also think the key is to preview the entry somewhere other than only my laptop.

Hi Tilly - Hope you don't mind. If you do I'll take it down immediately. I did a couple of quick adjustments to your image. Levels, Contrast, Noise Reduction, Sharpen, Desat blues
Just to give you an idea of what I meant by the underexposure. I gave your image a 4. With some adjustments it was easily a 6 or 7.

I agree that the execution probably needed more tone and sharpness for wider appeal. |

| I really think this was a great idea, just not 100% executed. It feels substantially underexposed IMO. Again, that's my opinion. Some may like this darker look for a more mysterious, subtle approach perhaps. Good luck in the challenge. |
