A friend, horses must often be "broken" for us humans to befriend.

Very nice. I know my sister would like this one. I can't believe that you came in last place. I think that you deserve a way higher one!

Seems like the focus is in the wrong area to me (on the gate behind the horse). Not really sure how this fits 'broken'

Doesn't seem to fit the topic and also looks like a bad snapshot

A little soft. Almost looks like your subject moved toward you at the last moment.

A very poor shot, I'm afraid. Motion blur from camera, colouring is weak and uninteresting. The horse appears friendly and gentle, rather than powerful and intimidating which is what your title implies. Has the feel of a snapshot entered in a hurry.

It's a little out of focus, and the background is too infocus, reduce your aperture and sort your focus out. Also, I can't find a link to the challenge.

Nice horse. Cute title but I think you are relying too much on the association. The colors seem a little drab and the focus is slightly off. Goo luck.

Another picture which depends too much on the title to make sense. As it is, it's a fairly weak link to the topic at hand. His nose is also out of focus.

horse out of focus, try sharpening face - might work

Rule #1 of portraiture - get the subject's eyes in focus. It might apply to the nose too. Colors are a bit muted overall.

I don´t know what to say really... The quality of the shot is pretty bad, poor focus (or even no focus) bad colours and poor contrast makes it look very flat. Also I don´t see how this is supposedly "broken"? I gave it a 1, hope you do better next time.
