This guy was in the wood pile when I was stacking some split firewood. Had my camera and macro lens with me "just in case". It probably measured a good 3 inches across. A little unnerving getting that close to it with the macro lens (and my face not far behind!), but this spider was a fine model and stayed in place (and didn't bite my face off). :-)
