Krystal, once again. Since this is a Basic Editing Challenge, I couldn't really do much about many things that i wished eliminated.

A high-key picture does not usually do well in a challenge so this si pretty much a gamble... someone said it's the best I have for this challenge so I'll go for it!

I didn't get a chance to vote on the pictures in this challenge, but wanted you to know that I think it's just beautiful! I've added it to my favorites. :)

I don't get it..DPC has me very confused about the voting and what in the world goes on....this one should have been in the top three. I really thought it should be #1!!!!! This was the only 10 that I had.

Manuel, this is an absolutely fantastic portrait. I noticed one person mentioned the leaves on the rose being distracting.....on that one small detail I think he may be right. I love your work and this one is a stunner.

Thought this was yours, really terrific shot - definately a top 5 image. Really like the high key effect - its nice to see a high key shot that isn't white!

As an added bonus you (with the help of the model) have managed to make this obviously unnatural pose look relaxed, sincere and serene.

You got a 9 from me.

I didn't get a chance to vote on this challenge, but did breeze through the pictures and this was by far my favorite. It's too bad people can't step out of their comfort zones a little and award truly great works of art. Beautiful job, and congrats on your top 20 in any case.

Such tender beauty captured by a very discerning eye. This remains my favorite of this challenge. Congratulations on your top 20 finish.

Some day Pare, people here will learn that overexposure and high-key are different things. until that day, know that I love this shot and think it deserved better :)

Good model, good pose, nice props. The overexposure bothers me though.

beautiful model and well composed image. I like how you have her hair falling down behind her face. one complaint is that the leaves on the rose stem clutter up the image. not so much that it detracts from a gorgeous portrait though

there are a lot of good things about this image but there are also several areas that are over exposed, or almost over exposed

Excellently composed and lit - and the extraordinarily beautiful model doesn't hurt either. It's a bit hot in spots, but I actually like that effect for this shot. If this were advanced editing, it would be a good idea to remove the 2 "extra" earring holes. This serene image should finish up in the stratosphere.

Nice everything except for the the blown out area of the hand and flowers which really ditract from an otherwise nice work.

Very nice idea. The rose & the nose are slightly overexposed, and that ruins it for me. only a 6 for this one. (revised upwards on a second run-through)

Wonderful photo, the lighting and contrast of her black hair with all of the yellow happening really works well.

This is a very pleasing photo. The contrast between the black hair and shades of yellow should make this a top ten finisher.

Great model, great color, beautiful pose. But for me, a bit too hot in too many places. I think this would have been incredible with much softer diffused light.

I think I know a winner when I see it and this is definitely a winner. The composition is so well thought out down to the very last detail and everything is beautiful. Yellow is my favorite color and this one just glows. I hope you will tell us all about how you did this after the challenge is over

Nice intensity to the yellows but the highlights are too hot, too close to being completely blown.
