I had gotten up early to see if there were any birds around the pond. Only this lone Cormorant sitting on the bow of the boat. A fog had drifted in from the sea less that a mile from this location and gave the sunrise a dreamy other worldly feel.
Wanting to capture the moment, I only had my 150-600mm lens with me and no tripod. I set the shutter speed and ISO to allow the possibility of shooting hand held and quickly shot some 60 images overlapping 1/3 frame using the Rule of Thirds grid in my view finder. Back at the RV, I then stitched them together.
