Neat shot. Maybe try lighting it at a low angle so there would be shadows cast between the kernels. Not much variation as it is.

Well you got close.... unfortunately there isn't much else about this that appeals to me - there is a little too much mess on the corn for this to work I think. But good display of technical skill to get this close and in focus.

Sure, I think of yellow when I think of corn. Fits theme nicely. This is a nice tight shot which shows adequate detail. DOF is a bit shallow and using a smaller aperture would have helped here. Still, one of the few photos that actually meet the challenge theme. 7
