Probably not what was expected in the challenge, but I think it fits the description and requirements.

I used the watercolour brush in the Krita drawing program to create half of the blots and then mirrored the other halfs in photoshop (should be possible in Krita but I don't know how yet).

Then I printed the blots, so I "used ink to create the blots" as per challenge requirements.

I printed some book titles and used random books to create the 3 piles.

Created a magazine cover and back.

Changed clothes, took the picture, resized, sharpened and uploaded, within minimal editing rules.

The image was based on the old joke about the psychiatrist showing Rorschach blots to his client and all the client could see was naked women. The psychiatrist told the client he had a dirty mind. Client said: Who? Me? You're the one showing all those dirty pictures.... (I know, it's old)

So what is the psychiatrist doing in his spare time?

This was a great idea and well-executed -- congratulations! :-)

It reminded me of one of my earliest entries when I worked at a print shop and could run off my own "tabloid" ...

3rd place, thanks, did not expect that, considering the relative low score compared to winning images in other challenges.

It was fun to do and actually not that much work compared to other studio type images (like this one ) that require build-up of backgrounds, setting up studio lights, endless fine tuning of the light, reflectors, position etc. and than selection and processing of the final image.
