 I collected leaves and put some underneath a textured glass cutting board so they'd look flat. I disassembled a picture frame for the wood frame here, then smeared the cutting board with some bug-repellent balm, ketchup and mustard to give the leaves their "painted effect."

Levels adjusted, unsharp mask, brightness adjusted, border added, and sharpening applied to get the "painting" look.

the color of the hand looks off, but the rest of the shoot is very nice

I like your concept, but my eyes are drawn to the hand not the yellow tones.

Oh, this is just sooooo nice :) I love creative minds -- wish I had one. The only think I can see that may hurt you in the scoring is that there appears to be a little camera shake or something. Maybe just a little out of focus. The good news is, I love the photo. The bad news is, I rarely pick a winner. :( BOL anyway.

cool picture... but i wish it were a little less grainy. did you use a high ISO?
