 Found this guy curled up on a branch in the Botanical Gardens.

Used a 300mm zoom lens.

Looks like a Reticulated Python shedding skin or a Carpet Python to me.

Nice position and DOF on face (if a little soft on the eye area), but the glare from the skin is quite overwhelming. If you could have moved round a bit it may have added more definition and gained some colour and depth of tone.
