Love it or hate it it's a Landmark and also well lit at night, a bonus considering the grey day's we've had this week.

Initial thoughts
I like the intensity of colours that come from the longish night-time exposure and the viewpoint creates an unusual composition.

Composition/ Content
The content is certainly interesting as it provides an unusual look at a building that's been photographed so many times before. That in itself is an achievement not to be sneezed at.
I particularly like the strong linear aspect to the content – pale vertical lines at the left, bluey diagonal ones to the right and yellow horizontal ones (broken by verticals) in the centre which combine to create another vertical. The repetition of patterns is interesting.
I am bothered by the way that the silver pipe to the far left seems to be quite far off the vertical as that jars with the more precise nature of such a structure, for me.
The colours seem both saturated and strong and yet there is a feeling of muteness to the image – perhaps that's more of a psychological reaction to the thought of the building during night-time.

Background
The warm, natural, orangey colour of the sky works well against the more obviously man-made silvers and blues of the buidling.

Camera Work - Technical
Nice colour and detail captured.

Digital Processing - Technical
Nothing that stands out. The artifacts mentioned in one of your existing comments aren't evident to me.

Fits The Challenge
Yes.

My Opinion On The Photo
An interesting geometric abstract based on a famous landmark.

Maybe 5th or 9th, but 59th?? Dang! This was one of 4 or 5 photos I gave a 10 to. I thought it had great impact, lines and the color is great! It looks like a setting in a video game actually. Great work.

Just clocked the average vote from you guy's that commented and it's right up there BIG THANKS it means a lot, maybe it was a little bit to off the wall an angle for the Landmarks challenge but thanks again for appreciating it.

Virtually no post production very slight levels a little more yellow, cropped rotated, neat imaged. If you visit this building at night your see how powerfully flood lit it is and the metal halide lights created the blue on the duct/pipe work and the yellow in the windows is pretty accurate of the warm interior lighting, I think this is a rare example of an architect actually planning the night view as much as day, but as one of the comments its not easy to capture the whole building. Thanks for all the comments they really help.

Great subject choice here and great angle. I'm not too sure that it's a landmark, but I'll take your word for it -- absolutely love the shot!

Almost surreal, amazing leading lines, thin echoing the bold; strong colors - even in the deep shadows. Then, the title adds to the strength of the photo.

This is so strange --looks like a painting. Hope you put in comments on how you got this effect.

Is this outside? Man, fantastic angle for a bizzare building. Nice light, is this the ambient light for the building? Good job.

hey! i know this building! fantastic isn't it? personally, i found it a right bugger to get a decent shot of it whole (streets are far too narrow), but here you've proved that you can get interesting shots of just a few certain details. the colours are lovely, but there is slight evidence of some excessive post editting (artefacts around the edge of the building). it's a good viewpoint though, and you've certainly captured the industrial feel of this wonderful office building. 7.
