 I am so sorry everyone. When I increased the size of this image, I accidentally deleted all the comments and user names from the 11 people who had selected it as a favorite. Thank you all for your very kind comments. I regret losing them more than you know. I never cease to amaze myself at my ability to mess up the easiest tasks.

I lucked into this picture coming home from work one day. Two of my students were driving by. They saw me and asked what I was doing on this muddy road. I said "Taking pictures." One looked at the other and said, "Told you. That is how she is," then they both laughed.

I desaturated the sky and the road. I saturated everything else. I burned the horizon and the bottomside of the clouds.

Really cool composition! Makes me think there should be a scarcrow hanging off and old post there on the corner. I love this shot. Very nice...!

Wow look at those colors there.. They are great...I love the sky how it is opening in the way that seems like its taking questions and answering them back... atleast thats what I sometime like to think.. Great pic:)

I like this picture also. The colors have an almost surreal quality to them, particularly in contrast to the desaturated clouds and road. Nice effort.

Well, let us start all over. A magical inage and one I would love on my favourites collection. The file may be floating happily in cyber space and may be receiving comments that you may never read. All good I bet.

We all fall victim to the pixel realm. I am also guilty of losing files. I certainly hope that there is a backup in DPC. If not, my full condolence. Best wishes, dan
