 The spectacular Springer Opera House the State Theatre of Georgia and a leading Southern cultural institution for 131 years. As you stroll from the gaslit street into the splendid Edwardian Grand Lobby, you can easily imagine the Nineteenth Century merchants, tradesmen, farmers, steamboat passengers and arts patrons streaming into the theatre eager to catch their first glimpse of Oscar Wilde, Ma Rainey or Lillie Langtry.

Lovely persepctive used to accentuate the soft, star-crossed lighting accenting the image. Clearly a landmark, and a cheerful nod the holiday season also! Great job!

Great effects with the lights.It would be interesting to see this shot in grey scale or even with some selective desaturation leaving just the color of the brick or maybe just the wreaths. nice shot.

Great soft lighting. Composition seems a bit off, I would have liked to see more of the balcony, it seems cut off abruptly on the top and right.

I can't believe I saw the Columbus, Ga Springer Opera House on this website! I have lived in the Columbus area my whole life. I like the way your photo caught the lights. Good luck!
