 caught this doe on the first day of deer hunting season, not sure which of us was the more surprised

not sure i would be out in the woods wandering around during deer season... last year a guy got shot to death by deer hunters while picking berries. they heard him groaning and fled the scene - later to be arrested. this season a guy got shot to death while sitting on his farm tractor on his land by deer hunters - they fessed up. also this year a guy got shot to death by his own group/ good friend while flanking/running deer out of the woods. i've personally had three dogs shot by deer hunters - none of the dogs were running deer either. more likely the hunter was just itching to shot something.
