 I was on a replica of The Enterprize which is an historical sailing ship. I took quite a few shots of the ship and the scenery. This looked low-tech so I submitted it.

Edits: Levels and Saturation then cropped.

I knew this challenge was rigged. Nice color and choice of subject. A leeeetle more focus on that gray rope would have been nice.

I lack any familiarty with sailing and rigging technology, but ropes and pulleys in some way do lend to the inference of technology and low technology at that. I like the choice of subject matter in the coloring and balance of whites, blues, browns. The angle is interesting and DOF just deep enough to draw the eye to the subject, while implying the complexity of the whole. Very nice, by the end of this little critique, the whole had moved considerably higher than my first impression!
