 This is a Douglas C-117, US-military plane which crashed on the sands of the Iceland south coast in 1973. Crew survived. Now the wreck is a tourist attraction - especially after a scene was shot there in Justin Bieber music video.
It was difficult to get a shot at it without any tourists in the frame - even on this cold and snowy day...

Great desolate image enhanced by the snow and flat sky. My choice for the blue.

This looks worse than when I saw it 4 years ago, have the tourists started to take with them bits and pieces?

What a cool shot. I like the gradient in the background it adds a touch of minimalism to a busy subject.
