Sorry, but the cut-off heads have a snapshot feel to me. I don't see the connection to the challenge, except for the title.

Love the expressions on both your subject's faces and the composition of the how you took this image with the audience. Good use of desaturation, however I would have gone the extra step to ensure that the blue jeans of the person in the black jacket was dulled to. Once I noticed it, it became a distraction. Still gave it a 7

Nice capture of a humorous situation. Wasn't there a film based on this concept?? How do you get part of the picture into black and white without violating the rule against selecting part of a picture and changing only that part?

Brilliant job of capturing the moment. I like the artist's choice of desaturating everything but the primary scene. The glee on the young subject's face is the perfect foil for the concentration of the older subject. A timeless and magical image. Superb, and IMHO the best of this challenge.
