This photograph was taken in Tijuana, Baja California Mexico. This lady was lying in a doorway and begging for money and food. The part of town is known as, "The Zone Of Tolerance". This area, is about a 1 square mile in which prostitutes are standing in the doorways of Bars, Cheap Hotels, and other businesses. This area is called "The Zone of Tolerance", because the police are paid to look the other way, and you can get just about anything you want in that one square mile.

Many of these prostitutes look like they couldn't be any older that 15-16 years old, while some were in their 40-50's and looked pretty tore up.
