Well  digifotojo missed the point somehow.
Did not see this cathedral but, since you are in that general area Margaret, Bavaria is peppered with baroque churches such as this one:
Diessen church
And you certainly know this one, considered the best examble example in your neck of the woods
Einsiednel Marian Shrine CH
As to intricacies, talking about craftsmanship, the ones in Sicily are unbelievable

Margaret .. you get around .. lol .. and to the most breathtaking of places .. your scenery is absolutely beautiful to behold .. just for starters ..
i'd love to visit a place like this ..
and yes .. belief in God has inspired ppl to build the most amazing edifices in his name .. all religions included .. :) |
