You have found a very interesting piece of architecture. The repeating columns and decorative stars do have a rhythm to them. With a shot like this one, the viewer is looking for balance. You have the elements available to make a balanced shot, but your crop has left more column on the left and cut off the one on the right. This leaves me feeling that this has a more of a snapshot feel to it. As you get more in tune with your shots, you'll begin paying attention to your location in relation to the subject you're shooting. As you move around you may realize that you can get a better perspective by moving left or right, or by kneeling or standing on something. This shot just needed you to move more to the right so you are standing directly in front of the middle column. This would have square the horizon and balanced the space on the left and right. Your white balance is good. The tones in the building look correct. You don't have any areas that are overly bright or dark and the curtains appear sharp and in good light. You may have oversharpened your final version here. This can be seen in by the stairstepping in the window stars.
This is a fine shot, it only needs a small amount of adjustments to make this really stand out for the viewer. |

| I've seen that sunstone before. I'll have to check back after the challenge to see where this was taken. My guess is Nauvoo Temple. I've never seen it though. If it is I'd like to see your shots of the whole thing. |

| Lovely. Pity you didn't show some more of the building, I feel that the bottom part of the building is cropped too much. Your picture is very interesting and the focus is good. |

| Very nice coloration and contrst. Unfortunate cropping. Perhaps removing everything just to the outside of each window would help. |

| The crop makes it seem unbalanced. I'd have prefered a symetrical approach. |
