I started to say it was amazing that everyone in the picture is studiously avoiding interacting with everyone else, but today that's par for the course. Good candid. It seems strange to see people smoking. That ash tray is a real throwback.

you have such an eye. if I had been there, I never would have noticed that the ashcan was a pillar around which all are orbiting.

I would call this "Interaction". Such a sad commentary on contemporary life. I can't even imagine being in that room - I hope it's well ventilated, at least, though it doesn't appear to be so.

I think in Australia that photo would be titled 'Smoko'.

Maybe I would call it 'Isolation in Company'. It's interesting that there seems to be not a hint of acknowledgement from the individuals that there are others around them.
