It̢۪s not the headless necessarily that it̢۪s unsettling but the fact that the mannequin is imperfect, of a larger size than the anemic, anorexic usual type and thus looking like a real person. And yes, it̢۪s in plain sight. Yes, on Delancey street there are all kinds of interesting finds.

It's a bit unsettling but not intentionally. This is a clothing store on Delancey St. before hours.

This is one of the creepiest images that I see here. It is a real woman without head, and this happened a few seconds ago. This ain't a regular size plastic mannequin and it was displayed for a purpose and please turn the page!

From the thumb I missed the fact this mannequin was headless and was thinking along the same lines as the title does. Interesting that your 'model' has a blouse that matched the roller shutters, stockings that match the cladding and a skirt that matches the bottom of the cladding.
