You are telling me that Sir Hugh tabulated this mountain while reclining in a deck chair on the beach? And you photographed it in the same magnificently indolent way? Huge respect to you both! Thank you. |

A Munro is a mountain in Scotland with a height over 3,000 feet, the best known being Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the British Isles. Munros are named after Sir Hugh Munro, 4th Baronet, who produced the first list of such hills, known as Munro's Tables, in 1891.

A Munro is a mountain in Scotland with a height over 3,000 feet, the best known being Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the British Isles. Munros are named after Sir Hugh Munro, 4th Baronet, who produced the first list of such hills, known as Munro's Tables, in 1891.
