this shot makes me miss Clive (where is that bastard?) I like how impossible it is to judge the distance of the water under the bridge

There's a lot filling the frame, but all the details build outward from the central shapes of a rectangle resting atop an arch. It's a composition that may easily be overlooked, but which subtly anchors everything. It's an interesting old structure, and I like how it's embraced the modern world, including a blue-haired woman.

Very picturesque. With no offense to England, I saw these beauties in Normandie

This is a step down from the previous grand interiors you've shown. But for me it's actually a more interesting structure, and a more absorbing photograph. There must be a reason for the little house structure on top of what appears to be a stone footbridge? I'm wrong about everything, aren't I? Not a house, not a footbridge. Don't tell me those are not even stones! Anyway, I really enjoyed looking around in wonder here! Thank you.

That's cool! The image doesn't appear to be square to me because of the building.

very nice - a centered subject, with no symmetry on either side of it, which provides a lot of visual interest

There's a lot to look at here -- the texture in the water, the stonework in the building, the arch, and best of all, pumpkins in the window!

What a great place - I LOVE stone structures . . . buildings, bridges, walls - and here I have them all.

I don't think I've ever seen an arch with a skinny keystone like that -- great find and detail.
