oh Queen of the Abstract, it's the out of place diagonal in the corner that makes the shot. but you knew that.

Without the window I'd say this is an interesting piece of abstract art. I know it's of the ceiling but I keep trying to make sense of it as right side up. Holding a booklet to crop the left side, I do favor such a crop, my opinion only. The tones and shadows are quite elegant. I also like the overall crispness of it.

I thought it was a flag of some non-cricket playing nation. It'd be a very cool flag (not counting the window section I guess). The flag's colours (means the same as colors) would be my immediate favourite national colours. A nation of elegant stylists and designers presumably, and a smattering of lifestyle coaches, everybody there named Jacques or Sven-Erik. Even the girls. I'd happily live there, but alas I reckon they'd never accept me. Too gauche. Drinks beer. Sorry dear, booked out.

All that aside, the picture is very interesting. Thank you. |

3 hours in a dentist chair is never fun. I must say it is an interesting ceiling to look at though. Glad you're feeling better. :-)

oof glad you are doing better - kudos to you for having the presence of mind to take pictures at that harrowing time :) this makes for a pretty cool abstract, and the muted colors here are attractive. Personally would have gone for a crop that took out the window and the dentistry apparatus.

Great ceiling. I would not have guessed . . . though I would have wondered about the diagonal bar. Still do :)

I like how you turned the perspective -- looks like one of those geometric abstract paintings popular a while ago. I taken a lot of shots waiting in the dentist's office too. :-)
