Blue and gold is hard to resist. I'd probably clone out the bird resting on the cross. Nice architecture shot. |

A fairy tale building under fairy floss sky. Lovely. |

Another vote for the composition, it improves what could have been a bland image no end. I'm left wondering if you could replicate this oppulence in B&W conversion? |

Is this your house? It's very nice. Must be Hell keeping the leaves out of the gutters, and pigeon poop off the gold bits.
I agree with those who have commented about the prominence you have given the sky. That's what this building is really about.
Thank you. |

Great shot of an incredible building -- reminds me of crunchy meringue with edible gold leaf. |

The sky is a perfect foil for all this gilt and elaborate detail, both in color and in lovely, free form softness. |

giving those clouds so much of the stage is a good choice |

Lovely contrast of the gold against the blue sky. I like how the clouds have drifted off to the right (hey, it's fifty-fifty) like a curtain being drawn open. They must keep several burnishers on staff. |

With this image you pushed this baroque to its limit; a sugar cake from Pushkin's tales although it could be somewhere in Bavaria (Diessen?)
The way the composition works, is as if the building admires itself in an invisible mirror |
