This is my top pick. I don’t understand it, which is most of why I like it. My thoughts as I considered the photograph: I don’t understand the idea of repentance, don’t understand churches, don’t undertand trading life for afterlife. And I don’t understand what that wooden object is, nor why it’s here. But the photograph is quietly beautiful, and suggests it’s got a little secret insight for me, if only I’ll look a little longer. But I won’t. I’m too old and wise to change my ways :)
