Analysis of DPC voting data shows that participants (those users who have entries in the challenge) have voted lower (on average) on 254 of the 270 challenges (94%) completed to date by a vote of 0.2685 when compared to non-participants (those without entries in the challenge). In other words, if users with entries in a challenge were excluded from voting on that challenge, on average, the final scores would be 0.2685 higher.
There were 10,011,868 votes analyzed on 45,367 entries in 270 challenges. 5,128,808 votes (51.23%) were cast by non-participants, while 4,883,060 (48.77%) were cast by participants.
The last time participants voted (on average) higher than non-participants was the Round challenge, where participants voted (on average) higher by 0.0202 points.
