 Messing around with "emotive" self portraiture. It aint easy! :|

This came out of a "low light, forms and shadows" study I did soon after upgrading to the Nikon where I could *finally* choose my own shutter speed and aperture settings. (Oh for more money!)

Taken with natural sunlight filtered via narrow, heavy curtain gap.

Negative space added above original frame and some messing with grain, hue, saturation and far too many other Photoshop toys.

Self-portraiture ain't easy, but you're obviously a pro! The negative black space above works well with the skin tone and blue light below. The natural light is great. I really like this one.
