Nice touch to have it ringing. I like the title very much.

Not much lower tech wake up device than this wonder. Good lighting and long exposure of second hand and ringing bells. No question that this is a loud subject! Very clear focus and the noise in the shadows provides a graininess that I find interesting rather than detracting. Up angle gives it a larger than life feel that adds to the 'noise' of the alarm. Good Job, very high marks.

The technical aspects of this shot are stunning for me. I find my strength in artistic elements, and I am still struggling with the technical details of photography. I will be sure to check out your portfolio when I find out who you are after voting. Everything about this shot works for me. The movement of the clapper (is that what it's called) between the bells is a perfect touch. Captivating shot.

This is clearly an electronic clock, despite it looks - unless you fired a speed-light at each second increment perfectly timed :| (Wind-up clocks don't do perfect second increments like that. Do they?)

[edit]
OK. There's a hot debate running in the forums about what exactly is "electronic".

I have decided to subtract only one point for items I believe to be electronic, rahter than the hard-line "1" I originally issued for such items. This is far more fair and reasonable.

Good detail, something about the legs of the clock looks off.

Impressive that you retain sharpness with the bell ringing.
