Challenge: Where's Waldo? (Classic Editing)
Collection: Portfolio
Camera: Nikon D100
Location: Basement
Date: Feb 9, 2003
Aperture: 4.5
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/13
Galleries: Humorous, Animals
Date Uploaded: Feb 9, 2003

I borrowed a bunch of my daughter's stuffed animals and shot them individually. Then I made a poster of them in Photoshop, and I cut out a hole where my eyes would go. Afterwards, I took photos of the poster and me peeking through the hole.

Really good job. I just wish that the squares were lined up with the border better.

Creepy. The human eyes are looking away from the camera, and while I'm not certain if that was intentional, I think it hurts the picture since all the other eyes face forwards.

Never thought about using the video feature of the camera this way. Way to do. Good job. This had to be very hard to accomplish though, even with that feature. I can't get it this clear. Great job. Well done.

Very easy to tell where 'waldo' is.

This is an original idea and made me laugh when I saw it. It took me a minute to see how you did it and you did it well. Maybe the face would have blended in better if there was less light on the nose and cheek. Great shot anyway!

Cute trick! Waldo found! The prints of some of the characters didn't turn out evenly vivid, like the orange beaked ?penguin? and the grey faced ?donkey? and the white of the center face is a tad overly bright. Very creative! 8 Swash

its tilted and your craftsmenship is a bit crap I like the idea though, sorry I have to be honest.

Hehee, I like it. You should have made "Waldo's" face less lighted or blurred slightly or something to give it more of the same feel as the others. 8.

Hey, are you the guy who shot "me, and me again!".
Nice compo! Very creative, compared to all of those who saw two many reruns of E.T. Good idea to focus on the eyes. Some windows are too dark and crooked, but the compo alone is worth a 7.

This is the best of all the Waldos pretending to be a stuffed animal.

If you are who I think you are, you love photographing your face. I like the concept (presumably printed card with a cutout) - it's a very fun photo. And the person is hidden in an abstract kind of way. Thie lighting is a bit too different between the other characters and yourself, but perhaps this was deliberate. Well done.

Very Brady Bunch, but I'll bet you've heard this a lot. So this would make Waldo Peter, right?

This is a very interesting one, and I like the idea. Lines are not straight, and is distracting a bit. Still like it.
