shot during a rain storm with the ISO deliberately dialed up to the highest level, in order to introduce noise, that could then become grain/grunge in post-processing to b&w - this high ISO technique can lend the image the textural quality of a bromoil print - that, coupled with the fast shutter capture of a torrential downpour gives this shot a visceral look of "weather" that appeals to me.
