Wow! What an unusual subject! This is quite original considering it is one of a kind.
IT's somewhat exciting because my heart skips a beat over concern that a fire may catch...lol This works because it is so unexpected.
Technically speaking, the exposure is good, showing detail in the cardboard box. The greyscale works fine here and it is well composed.
As an image it doesn't stand out as a fine work of art, but it is somewhat effective as I previously mentioned, therefore it is successful.

Interesting idea. I'd be scared to put a naked flame in a cardboard box! I think the lighting in this is perfect. I'm sure the candle wasn't the only source. The black and white is really nice. |

Nice photo of the candle and box. Good focus/framing and contrast. I'm not certain about the challenge, but I'm not going to penalize you heavily for my not understanding it. Interest - moderate to low (sorry). 7 Swash |

I really like this one. Great lines, and shapes. Plus the varied lighting is cool. Nice show. |

Great job of capturing the light effectively. Could the box have been a little more interesting, somehow, though? |

Very interesting. I orgininally found the circles distracting but I now feel that it works well (gives you an idea what I'm looking at). Good job. I love the warmth of the picture. Jacko. |
