nothing special, just a black backdrop and a basic light. tripod etc... very basic photoshop: crop and used the burn tool to blend out the background to all black, then ran it through neat image to remove noise and give it the smooth effect.

A nice, simple entry with some good lighting (although your color balance could use less yellow). The textures are really god, but I don't really like how it fades out so quickly on the left hand side.and the DOF seems to suffer on the foreground 84 (on the arm), and on the player's name.
