 I inherited my husband's old camera when he upgraded this year, and this was my first outing with a real camera. We strolled through Riverfront Park in Spokane Washington and snapped a few photos of the shell of the tent from the World's Fair. I've never had much natural skill when it comes to art, but I'm looking forward to learning!

An appealing image that contributes to the challenge brief well

Hello Emily and welcome to DPC. For your first outing with a real camera I have to say well done! This is a good composition that shows you have a good 'seeing' eye and also has originality and therefore interest. I like the span that forms the topmost boundary, the netting detail, the centre pole it all works well together. I look forward to your future entries with interest Emily
