 Rejected by DC Prints with reason "Too grainy." THE GRAIN IS INTENTIONAL! Sheesh! Looks fine off my printer. Do they need to purchase new ones?

Single candle provides lighting. Long exposure to obtain natural camera grain. Dust & Scratches filter to remove high contrast digital noise.

Negative space added above original shot to give gazing eyes something to gaze into and provide a better balance. Some cloning, so I can't submit to the B&W Basic Editing challenge. May find some black sheets and try again before the deadline.

Something is lost in the camera angle. Perhaps it should be a little higher?

I think the grain looks good. I think it is a lost technique on todays photography.
