 Came across this noodle shop walking around the Pontocho Alley in Kyoto. I loved the little window where you could peep into the kitchen, its like looking into another world. As it was quite dark, used a slightly wider aperture and higher ISO to obtain a relatively faster shutter speed so that there will be not much motion blur on the people in the window.

An appealing image that contributes well to the open challenge

This is a nice piece of observation, you feel as though you are peering into their secret world. Your composition is good it shows off the building in which they are working to advantage with lots of interesting detail. I like your mono processing there is a good range of tones and the exposure itself is all good. A nice piece of work, thanks for sharing Michelle.
