Last minute entry. Racked my brain for 2 weeks trying to think of a way to make a rock look interesting. My granddaughter was playing in our backyard and was walking on some landscaping rocks. I took a picture but didn't like it. Then it came to me! "On The Rocks"! Which is strange because I don't drink. We were going out and didn't get home til 9:00p.m. I had designed the composition in my mind so when we got home I put it together in the basement and took several shots. The liquid is apple juice. In setting up one of the variations I accidentally spilled the apple juice on the table. I liked the look of the wet platform so I spilled more apple juice to make it more appealing (that is a pun!). I liked the way it turned out. I submitted it at 11:00 pm with an hour to spare.

Great image, very creative and well executed. My top-pick. Only small point of criticism is the separation of the white-greyish background; one background colour would have been preferable IMHO.
