Nice. Looks like poster-pup for abused dogs.

I would give it a tighter crop at the top... about the same amount as you have on the bottom would be perfect.. maybe even a touch on the left to match the right.. i like the BnW here as well

This needed a bit more light on the dog's face, so that one could see his eyes.

Black dogs and cats are difficult to photograph. Unfortunately, this is a bit too dark. I like the composition tho.

This might have been better in color. I like the pose and lighting. Good luck

Dog is underexposed.

Lovely Black & White shot of your dog. I like the way his eyes are just staring at you behind your camera. You've got nice tones on the ground and the natural lighting goes well with your subject. Your photo is sharp and the dog is nicely in focus. Good job.

Nice pose and composition. I like the b & w but the image is very dark on my monitor so I can barely tell his eyes are open. I would really like to see more of the beautiful face this dog must have.

What a beautifull dog. Neat use of negative space. Good job.

A lovely dog portrait. Focus is good & sharp, and the dog is posing really nicely. I can understand the use of B&W with a black dog, but it leaves this photo a little too dark. I think leaving it in colour would have provided more contrast between the dog and the ground beneath him.
Still, a very nice shot and a cool looking dog, well done.

With the dog being so dark did he show up any better in color? Just wondering. He's a beautiful dog and beautifully posed. Just wish I could see him better. The grass appears black and over sharpened. Maybe a little lighter would help. I just want to see him better.

good looking lab..I know how hard it is to get a face shot that shows the eyes. I wonder if cropping the top almost down to the dog's head would help? good luck in the challenge(6)

Contrast is a little too much. You can't see much detail in the dog. I also find the background very busy.

Just too dark to make out much of the subject.

A little dark, but great shot.

I think the dog is too dark, it would be better if he was facing the oder side. But everything else is great. 7
