Hello from the critique club

An appealing image that meets the challenge

Well Marcel, you’ve really got me intrigued here! Even with your explanation I don’t see either a flower pot or a television but what I do see is an intriguing image that defies explanation which is good. I like the symmetry, nice sharp focus surrounded by softer, (blurred?) detail. The muted colours work well and the lighting highlights and shadows also work well. I would have liked to see this do better but perhaps it was just a bit too undefinable but still a good image, well done Marcel.

I really thought this would go to the top. I gave a 10.
