In RAW, increased blacks, countered with fill light, increased vibrance and saturation.
In PS, adjusted red, yellow and orange. With "Replace Color", I took the overbearing blue out of the snow, and some orange in the clouds. Sharpening with a saved process including unsharp mask.
Added the border, resized to reduce the border size, and saved.
I waited 3 hours for this shot, got there early to get the best angle and still had to weasel my way around to get there. I wonder how many other DPC'ers were there...
I predict 6.0. But even though it's a common depiction of this phenomenon, I think it's worth 6.5+.
