thats a dragonfruit.. but guess it should have better lighting

This looks very much like my original idea for this challenge. No entanglement was involved and the hero was an eggplant (aubergine). I couldn't find decent looking veggies in my local grocery stores and markets and went with something totally different.

BTW, what kind of fruit/vegetable is that?

I think with some better lighting, this could really do well. As it is, I can't see enough to like it.
