 Hard to pick a photo this month. A lot of like, but none I love. This one did ok with response on Flickr, so we'll see.

This is at one of my favorite photo spots. Just a few miles from my house is a portion of land the county bought and turned into a nature area. It has this river, with a small waterfall, and that's about it. But not for long. On this visit I found curved I-beams. They are going to build a bridge! This both annoys and excites me. I'm annoyed because the bridge will be directly over the top of the waterfall, obstructing the scene. But I'm excited to get to the other side of the river, something I haven't done before.

Back to this photo. I walked up the side of the river, looking for a shot just like this. I wanted the water to curve, while the fog of the morning hid the end. Gives it a mysterious look.

Really very peaceful and relaxing. I quite like all the shades of gray/brown of trees as they fade into the mist.
