This 'transgression' may not be strong enough to qualify.
Death in an idyllic landscape being too cliche'. I fell in love with the clouds and forgot the challenge.

I love the arcing shapes. Great composition.

I am waiting for something to die,
something to die within my sight.
I am waiting for something to see.
It could still show movement, life.
Life with halting, troubled heaving.
I like them small, with a big distress.
I am not doom. I am what follows.
I'm just here to dispose of the mess.

Rather sloppy editing - there are great big circles visible in the sky in the middle right, as well as a forest of little circle markings on the upper left edge. Now that I look at it more, in fact, the entire sky is full of visible brush marks, and you have a strange stepped gradient along the middle left too. And you have some flying twigs in the lower right fifth. The vulture also has some sharpening halos. It's a shame, because the careless edit ruins an otherwise very strong composition, which would have been one of my best scores in this challenge otherwise.

Lovely minimalism. Just wondering if you should have cropped the fauna below. I'm evenly split in my decision, already voted.

This is nice. I like the silhouette and square crop. I think if the vulture were dead center it would be even better.

Ominous in so many ways. And beautiful.

Happy confluence of awesome elements. That branch and bird are quite an exclamation in the storm.

That claw of a tree presenting the bird to us - wonderful!

This is a visual treat, the contrast and texture are super-eye pleasing. I think you have achieved sad lyrics against a hopeful tune, or vice versa, and as such, have presented the bittersweet reality of life and death.
