Wish I had time to find a landmark or shoot it coming up over a river or lake or anything more interesting really. I believe an image like that will win the challenge deservedly but this is my first attempt at shooting the moon ever so I am pleased with the result.

Hello from the critique club

An interesting image that contributes well to the challenge

You have every right to be pleased with your image Louis. There is good focus with plenty of detail. It must have been a very bright moon with f16 as your chosen aperture you still managed to get 1/100s, to be honest I think you could probably have made it a bit easier for yourself given the relatively flat focal plane f8 would probably have sufficed. I think you could have improved it post-processing with more contrast it is somewhat uniform tonally. Given that this is your first attempt at a moon shot it is a very good result, well done.
