A lack of focal point really gives this shot a certain mediocrity to me. The colors seem a little muted, and it's slightly tilted. I just find that I don't know exactly what I'm supposed to be looking at.
Nice scene, a bit painterly, and that's good. Some more foreground light would have been good though--especially on the building to the right, which looks to have a great roof.
I struggled with this myself, but it seems to me calendar shots are always landscape (though I guess they could have borders left and right). Not taking off though, just pointing out. (Actually, I am going to try and go through and comment without actually voting...I am getting tired of "Scoring" images.)
Interesting object, but.. the reflection makes the shot too busy. It would be nicer if it was reflecting only the sky. Saturation and focus or DOF could be improved.
