Congratulations on your 9th placing with this little night magic!

You were robbed! ;) I still think this is worthy of a "10" - kudos for a magnificent shot!

A "10" all the way, congrats on the top 10 finish. (I had you pegged for Red).

Its a pretty photo but the hot pixels hurt it. Needs a little touch up to get rid of them.

Lovely capture of not only the aurora but of the stars too. Very pretty. 7

This is one of the best aurora shots I've ever seen. The colors turned out great and your composition works very nicely. Really great job.

Nice aurora shot, the "open" tree at the bottom to the left helps a lot and the placement of it is very good.

This is great! The way the trees dominate the lower ground and the stars the upper part of the picture. Would love to see it in larger form to identify the constellations. Well done 10

This is stunning. The fact that the stars are visible, the movement of the lights up and out of the frame, and the angle of the shot give the feeling of being transported up and beyond the frame of the image. Nice job.

Northern lights always impress me. We were supposed to get them as far south as here in Pittsburgh last night, but I didn't happen to see any. I'm envious of these views! My neighbors are from Winnipeg, and they are so used to this that they probably wouldn't bother turning their heads to see 'em, but they're quite a novelty to me!

Wonderful capture...must be a contender.

You are lucky to live in a place where these lights exist. The tree on the left really makes this image. Excellent work.

Very, VERY cool looking picture!

northern lights are nice to see... once or twice. seeing them in every challenge gets a little old. Technically, digital noise needs to be cleaned up and i would cut about 100 pix from the bottom.
