 I showed this photo to my wife, and after she picked her jaw up, she told me she thinks it's one of the top 5 photos I have ever taken. She wants a giant print of this to go above the fireplace.

But at DPC, I have a feeling it will get hammered. Nice landscape photos have not been doing well for me. It's depressing. Very depressing. I want my artwork to be received better...

Anyhow, this photo used of the best strengths of Aurora HDR: layers. With uproar HDR, you can add layers for adjustments, or you can add layers of the original images and mask it in. The sky of this photo is the -2 EV image. I then brought the highlights down on it and made sure to bring out he morning warm colors. This is what made the photo. As it was, the sky was very light. Doing much to it just made the sky look grey. So using just the -2EV impasse there was brilliant.

Crisp, clean and clear imagery with wonderful greens contrasting with the golden tones of sky and trees. Very nicely composed - good eye on the color and overall impact of the stream. A worthy entry.
